International Women’s Day, to celebrate diversity in tech and beyond. Co-hosted by Fongit and Girls in Tech Switzerland.

We are very excited to be celebrating International Women’s Day with you through a community & networking event hosted and co-organized by Fongit

The event will start with a panel discussion on the topic of diversity and you will get to learn about the stories of some of the women featured in our 10 Women in Tech in Switzerland to Follow in 2023 blog post and other amazing role models.

The event will start with a panel discussion on the topic of diversity and you will get to learn about the stories of some of the women featured in our 10 Women in Tech in Switzerland to Follow in 2023 blog post and other amazing role models.

 

Our guests include:

  • Clio Rossier, Salesforce Consultant at Merkle DACH. She is one of the co-hub leaders for diversity and inclusion at the Merkle DACH Salesforce division which allows her to drive efforts around bringing more women and diverse profiles to the tech industry.
  • Laetitia Bochud, director of Virtual Switzerland, a non-profit organization that encourages the adoption of AR/MR/VR across industries in Switzerland to drive innovation. Through her work here and abroad, as president of XR4Europe, she is facilitating and fostering knowledge sharing and community building around use cases and productions in immersive technologies
  • Sofia Kypraiou, Data Science Consultant at the Geneva-based non-profit Women At The Table. With a strong focus on data science with respect to AI ethics and human rights, Sofia is helping to pave the way to a more equal future through data and analytics.
  • Christina Vallgren, CEO / Co-Founder at Terapet, a start-up that develops medical equipment so that every patient receives the right dose. Christina holds a Ph.D. in physics and is an inspiring role model for women in tech and female founders.

The panel will be moderated by Girls In Tech Switzerland’s Co-Managing Director and Head of Events, Anne-Sophie Scharff.

After the panel, you will get a chance to network with the community and discuss with our inspiring panelists. The perfect opportunity to meet like-minded people and share ideas on how we can all bring more diversity in tech and beyond.
